They are mainly good for cable fuses
Each loop has two sides that should be closed after crimping, but I have found that the side of the metal that should already be closed needs extra crimping because it is pretty easy falls out. They're good for holding adapters together, but aren't great for end-to-end security. can be pulled out by simply twisting the attached adapters.
