Excellent cable in spares
I have replaced the original. 2 pc cables on my 200k+mi. 1987 Monte Carlo SS. I'm the original owner so I know it's a factory cable. This new cable is a PC. but it fits perfectly. At first the speedo jumped a little under 10 mph but that went away. The cable was pre-lubricated, so the grease may have been too hard. The speedometer jumped to about 40 with the old cable and the car ran poorly because the VSS was receiving an intermittent signal (TCC went in and out for one), surprisingly the cable fixed everything that was going on.
