If you need to connect two monitors, THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR YOU.
Since there are only HDMI and VGA as video connectors, your cables must each be one and this product has a design flaw where VGA and HDMI do not fit at the same time. And it's not that "my cables are different": the VGA connectors are pretty much the same, leaving 1mm for the plastic part of the HDMI connector. If there is such a cable that will do the job, which I doubt, you're going to have to spend more money on something that's a design flaw.
