This is exactly as advertised. I had a really hard time deciding on a thread at Revain as they all seem to have mixed reviews. I think the biggest problem is that people want to use thread for a variety of purposes (big projects, sewing machine or hand sewing). I don't know how this would work for a sewing machine, but it's perfect for hand sewing small projects and repairs. Today I easily repaired some stretched seams by hand. The thing is comfortable. Because the coils are housed in a box, they are easy to insert and remove and stay in place. This will take a while as I'm not doing anything big. The choice of colors is pretty decent and it's a great price.
