Works great. You have to be sure that you really have a paw in the shoe. The first few times I didn't, and we lost a pair of shoes walking. However, once you learn how to put them on properly, they will get the job done! My dog's paws are protected from snow. I also bought small rubber paw protectors to use with these boots when the snow melts and is very slushy. I wasn't sure how waterproof the boots themselves would be. So far I haven't had any problems. My dog doesn't like wearing them but when we go for a walk he's fine.
