UPDATE: so the first one lasted 45 days at 8+ hours per day. I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. Again - 45 days later and the second one is dead. The company has been the utmost professional to work with. The factory has found the manufacturing problem and are refunding my purchase. If you have any problem, contact the seller - they will take care of any issues. 5 stars for the company!This has definitely replaced my older wax tart burners that used tea lights. I love that this has a timer function, unlike others. I will say that the tart cupcake holders that come with it are absolutely not needed. In fact, it took forever to melt the wax and the scent just wasn't there. So I tried just putting the tart in the metal cup, which made it melt much more quickly and the scent was fabulous. I've used it everyday day for at least 12 hours. I just pop the metal cup in the freezer for 5-10 minutes and the old tart just falls right out. Maybe the cupcake holders are for warming oil, I don't know. This is soooo much safer for dogs (or children) than having a flame.
