Review on πŸ”₯ Elmer's E5010 Extra Strength Glue Sticks 0.28 Ounces, 4 Count: High Power Adhesive for All Projects by Barbara Simmons

Improved durability, works as expected

I use it primarily for sticking carbon-printed USPS shipping labels onto their glossy Priority Mail envelopes. I was running out of regular Elmer glue stick so I decided to try the extra strength like I've done with regular glue and then use duct tape to hold the label for extra security. I find Extra Strength extra strong, labels stick better, I'm tempted not to use tape but for common sense I do add a bit of tape (albeit less) than before. Note that some reviews said they weren't good at binding paper so I glued two 3 x 5 cards (standard white) together with no problems, they were securely attached and ripped when allowed to dry rather than peeling. Maybe batch variability or drying time. I only gave about 3 minutes to dry. I didn't try to glue photos because the container says the photo is safe. FWIW, the hose is 3-1/4" long and 5/8" in diameter. The lid closes with a latch, so it's pretty secure. Simply twist the tube end to expand the application adhesive. The glue itself in the tube has a pale blue tint, almost white, and is almost colorless to apply, but you may notice a slight "dampness" where it is applied. A regular Elmer wand that used to be purple and then became transparent. Generally satisfied, stronger than usual, suitable for my use.
