This is a bottle of TFE/FEM hydrogen generator as advertised. This means you can use any type of water you want and the water will not smell or taste like ozone. At the mine, I use reverse osmosis water, which contains no minerals. If you choose to use tap water it will most likely become contaminated with minerals/manganese/bacteria over time. Even if you CAN use tap water, I would NOT. There's really no way to THOROUGHLY clean it in the nooks and crannies of the generator. The best way is not to let it get rough. Use bottled reverse osmosis water. Also, NEVER drink from this bottle. JE. Pour water into a glass and drink FAST from the glass. I have about 9 of these hydrogen generator bottles that I use. I LOVE hydrogen water. You have to drink it FAST. I exhale after about 4 seconds because the hydrogen drops right after the cycle. Don't turn it on for the 2nd cycle thinking the hydrogen will double. This doesn't work with ANY of the bottles I've ever used, it just drains the battery faster. After 1 cycle the hydrogen is 1300 ppm. If I do a 2nd cycle it increases it to 1400ppm. Certainly not worth it IMO. You should always leave some water in the bottle to keep the membranes moist. This is one of the reasons why you should first use the purest water. H2 water tastes just like the water you put in the bottle, it doesn't change the taste in any way. What Will Hydrogen Water Give You? For all, it helps with hydration. The water is "wetter" and that will be the first thing you'll notice. If you are an athlete or work in the sun all day, this is what you need. When I drink hydrogen water, I don't have to pee as often as I would if I drank the same amount of purified, bottled, or tap water. If you are older, hydrogen helps with pain, energy, memory, inflammation. I would never want to be without him. If you're young and healthy, you may not notice any of these benefits other than hydration. So the worse you feel at first, the more you will notice the many benefits. I drink over 8 bottles a day and have noticed benefits in just a few days. It comes with a hydrogen content meter. How else to find out how much hydrogen is in the water and if the generator is working properly? He also checks the ORP. Included is a good price for them. I already had an H2 meter, so now I have a backup in case my other meter fails or I have doubts about its readings.
