Review on Automatic Maintainer Portable Motorcycle Batteries by Clint Mcloven

I ordered this charger to charge some of the batteries I have in my truck to start my car as well as others. It arrived quickly and in good condition. It came with a set of quick release alligator clips and instructions. Read the instructions, connect the clamps to the battery, then to the charger and plug it into an outlet. Got three nice "non-flashing" solid green lights and no red error lights. So the charger was basically telling me that my battery, which was in my cold truck and had jumped over several cars over the last month, was still fully charged. Well it didn't feel right. So I tried another battery that had been lying around in the garage for a few years. I was also told that it is also fully charged. I was ready to curse and throw away my charger when I decided to try a different set of quick releases. As if by magic, everything changed. The charge indicator started flashing, and the squeak of the charger cycling, which it initially did, was gone. Apparently the clips that came with the charger were defective, for which I deducted a star. Now I am very happy with this little charger. Not only has it revived an old shop battery, it has charged all of my batteries that I use for cars and trailers, and it is currently doing a maintenance charge (i.e. plugged in and holding a charge) on my road trailer battery. This is a great little charger now that I've replaced the clips that came with it. I can recommend it.
