This thing is a beast of a cleaver. I expected a little lightweight cleaver. It dose not disappoint I use it for cutting up my deer at the camp don’t pass this thing up !!!!

I''m on the verge of sending it back. SO HEAVY. Great if you''ve got commendable upper body strength and it won''t tire you out to be bashing things with a knife that weighs the same as a Volkswagon Beetle. But on the plus side, I can''t see it ever breaking, which my old one did, so. . . IDK. It smashed through the box and through the shipping envelope because it was so heavy. Fortunately, no damage, but the box was ruined. No giving as a gift for this one. Shipping was not the best. I *think* the knife will be OK since I''ll only use it for butternut squash and firewood, but I don''t know. We''ll see.
