Review on Fit System 80205 Replacement Backing by Fred Vazquez

Before ordering, I strongly recommend that you make sure your Camry uses a square mount before purchasing. This part was listed as an exact match to our 2007 Camry Hybrid. Since this is the same part that the major auto parts stores sell, I thought I'd order this part from Revain since it's half the price. Unfortunately, this part has a square bracket, while the factory original is round (photo attached). The new mirror is also slightly larger and has a slightly different shape than our original. I never considered the scenario where Toyota used two different mounting brackets and different sized mirrors on Camrys released the same year, but that seems to be the case. If this is the right mirror for your Camry (as it was for many other reviewers), then you're in luck. The part looks like an OE quality replacement at a fraction of the price and installation feels easy. Summary: Overall I'm happy with the quality of the part, but while it was described as a 'perfect fit' for our make and model, it turned out to be the wrong part.
