I used them for painting. I've only done one full painting so far, but I like them. The ink is dark, you can put the cap on the back of the pen and there is a variety of lines which is what I was looking for. I like to paint my work traditionally and it seems to scan well. One star deducted because the instructions can only be found online and are difficult to read. They come in an unmarked white thin cardstock box and there is nothing written about pens on the box or inside the box. Difficult to read information about them as either on the handle they are written in the sellers native language (which is to be expected, the thickness of the line can be determined by the number on the side) or in English, which is completely lost in the translation on their site. They are presumably refillable, but I can't figure out if they just transfer ink to other pens or if they can hold regular memory ink. If they improved the packaging and invested in a more experienced translator, they would sell very well.
