Had the job finished after a little extra effort.
Right off the bat I would like to say that this drive worked in the end. It wasn't a new drive, as I said, and if it was, it wasn't in a clean environment. Also for the XBOX ONE X I had to remove an extra piece of plastic from the front of the drive to fit the XBOX case (last photo, old drive on the right, new drive on the left). As I said, it finally worked, but with some effort.
