This J-199 is a great desk radio with retro design and backlit dial, the speaker is loud and clear, easy to use. Fantastic AM/FM station reception and extremely easy Bluetooth connection. I'm listening to Sirius on the phone app over bluetooth. It even comes with two rechargeable lithium batteries that charge automatically when plugged in, making it great for use in the event of a power outage when you don't have power, cable or internet. I like listening to shortwave at night (best shortwave reception at night). I put it on my desk near the window for better reception.
