Bought this bit set because of the carbide teeth. My project required drilling holes in 1/16" thin 303 stainless steel and 3/16" mild steel. I drilled a pilot hole in the hole saw that is almost identical to the size of the center drill, and once inserted, the drill twitched slightly and the drill broke like a branch. I had to steal a drill bit from another saw and carefully drill each of the holes with an 18v hand drill. The hole saws will cut the holes. They are "acceptable" in size but should be taken as a rough approximation of what you are trying to achieve.
