I love my sugar bowl.
I love this bowl. Note that this ceramic will absorb moisture when washed. Even after drying, moisture can remain in the ceramic, causing the sugar to stick together and harden. Simple trick. Wipe inside and out with a slightly damp paper towel. Let it sit and add salt crackers to the bottom before dusting with sugar. If it's just starting to clump together, it's time to replace the cracker. It was also very well packaged and was intact when unpacked. I don't think ceramic is too thin. Just use some TLC.
