Very compact and if you need to throw a pair of Emergency Readers in a small place somewhere, they'll come for you. If you plan on wearing them for a longer period of time, look elsewhere. The lens and frame are actually pretty decent, but the folding legs aren't great. In fact, the first pair didn't have enough friction to keep from collapsing on their own, and eventually they fell apart completely, so here I am with a brand new pair of readers held together with black duct tape. The spring tension on the legs isn't enough to keep them upside down, and since the nose is all metal, they want to slip off when you look down. The 2nd couple initially felt better but relaxed quickly. I haven't even opened the third pair yet. I have a big head so maybe for a small person it could be good.
