Perfect! I recommend this for a car with a carburetor. I used one for my old school because the tank is pretty old and there is some debris on the bottom. The built in filter keeps dirt from getting into my carburetor which is a big problem with any old school car with a metal tank. It's not just the gas that's bad here. Starting without this suction pump can be difficult, and also the quality of the pumps installed on the engine has greatly deteriorated, which can sometimes cause controllability problems. I installed it next to the tank with the factory pump stock. Run like a champ!
