This is not a kettle that I would recommend to everyone, but if you are a coffee lover or even a coffee lover who likes a little ritual I would urge you to take one good look at this pot. If you're the kind of person who sets up an IV on a timer at night, this might not be for you. Of course, we rarely use this kettle in the morning, it takes time. The coffee this kettle brews is excellent and only gets better with time. Small adjustments to the flame can tailor this coffee to your taste. For us, this is not an everyday pan. When we have time to slow down a little, this coffee makes us appreciate the time. The water stays above the flame at the bottom of the pot until it's hot enough to seep through the coffee grounds at the top. You then remove the flame and the coffee flows back into the lower pot. There are many places where you can find good advice on how to use this coffee pot, but rarely does it talk about how nice it is to consciously take your time to brew a wonderful cup of coffee. We put a piece of marble on a coffee table and do it in the living room where we feel more comfortable. Although I think it would be nice right on the table. We're known for keeping a good conversation going until we have time to sit down and brew a pot. It's pretty to look at, makes great coffee and makes us very aware of how much time we waste slowing down our lives for a while. We always think coffee is good for a busy day, and it is, but the caffeine doesn't really kick in until you've had your coffee, so enjoy your coffee now while you can taste it! of your life, if you think you can capitalize on that kind of time, or if you just want a great cup of coffee to slow down your day a little, then this kettle is definitely for you.
