Review on Rave Review: Giro ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Rincon Men's Mountain Cycling Shoes Unveiled by Donald Vargas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's been 200 miles and I still like them.

I don't turn food. The more expensive the thing, the more I expect of it, the less I fetishize it. I could go crazy for a $20 flashlight that makes tents bright as daylight, but $150 cycling shoes hold up better, are comfortable, and go the distance. These definitely do. The BOA is durable and much nicer than the ratchet straps on my old Specialized. The velcro on the bridge is a bit short for my average feet and I feel like they should have left it long so it could be trimmed. Your backs are fragile. I can say. Don't be a fool and don't kick them or put one foot on top of the other to rip them off. You'll ruin them in no time. Also make sure they are loose enough to put on. This should keep them going for a while. For people who say they aren't tough enough, that's ridiculous. You are tough enough. If you want a stiffer mountain bike shoe, you will have a hard time. The spikes stay in place, the shoe doesn't get too hot, the width is right and the BOA works. Good shoes, still worth the price. As with all cycling shoes, I took half a size larger than my usual shoe size. I wear size 9 in Clarks, Sanuk, Ariat, Saucony and Thursday boots and size 9.5 (43 in UK) fits perfectly.
