Review on 🌬️ Optimize with Vornado Ultra1 Ultrasonic Humidifier for Whole Room Moisture by Janet Williams

My optometrist recommended a humidifier to help get rid of dry eyes. This one seemed the best to me, so I bought it for the winter of 2015. Just a month after using it, the indicator said it was time to change the filter. It was disappointing. It also needs to be cleaned often with vinegar. If you put it on high it makes a little noise and goes through the water very quickly. If you remove the tank to fill, water will drip onto the floor, so bring a kitchen towel. On the plus side... It does affect humidity, and the "Low" setting is quiet. I've never had an issue with moisture building up in any particular area, which has been one of my main concerns as I have hardwood floors and some electronics next to the humidifier. Thing is, all humidifiers need to be cleaned and replaced...but it would be great if someone could build one that doesn't require that kind of maintenance. WARNING: I upgraded my rating to 5 stars on 12/3/19 because (1) I learned a good system to prevent water dripping, (2) when I accidentally threw away the cap with the old cartridge, it became replaced free of charge. That's great customer service and (3) this machine still works well and I use it 4-5 months a year (in cold weather).
