Of all the humidifiers I've tried so far, this one is pretty good. I found it user friendly with an elegant design. The tank is a little heavy when full, but it's better than refilling a small tank several times a day. I first tried it in my bedroom (300 square feet) and it humidified my bedroom to the 50% humidity I needed, but that's just to test if it works. Vornado wanted to make sure I was happy, so they bought me a new device, but they tested it in their lab first. The technician even recorded test results of +/- 5%, which is what I see with this plugin. I bought this humidifier in early November after the air got colder. I need humidity in the 50% range for a newborn, but with the heater on overnight the humidity dropped to 20% causing dry skin and nose problems for everyone. It has a huge tank that is a little more than I think is worth its price that really takes all the money.
