My '04 Chevy Silverado was stolen and was missing for a month and when I restored it the key was not in the car. Suppose the person who stole it still had the key. I didn't want to risk losing it again so I ordered it and I'm not stressed again. Simple installation takes maybe 10 minutes. I had no 0 problems, even with a spare key. Worked perfectly for me.
