Just got a lock, can't say I know the battery life but I can say I've had no trouble programming it, and it works exactly as expected. I played with it like it was a crackpot or something for almost a day and it was pretty consistent. However, changing or replacing the battery is not easy. USB charging is a plus. The charger seemed to work fine. Overall I think this will be a quality lock that will last a while and while it won't last as long as a mechanical lock and requires fairly frequent maintenance by charging, the reassurance of not having a simple code to leak for anyone, plus the ability to add different users without risk of being compromised is a worthy compromise.
