I had the same shoes with the Made in Vietnam label. It fit well and didn't hurt my feet. But I knew Rockport played in more than one country. This pair was marked 'Made in India'. It was immediately clear that the material was different. I tried them on and found that they fit more snugly and the 'leather' was stiffer and more plastic-like than the Vietnamese pair. He immediately started rubbing my leg and I decided to return it. If you are lucky enough to have a shoe made in Vietnam, enjoy this shoe. If you bought one from India, test it thoroughly and make sure you can handle poor quality materials before you decide to keep it for yourself.
