Excellent performance to BUY if you don't like the lack of a pickup truck on the Toyota factory 4Runner.

Installed on 2018 Toyota 4Runner TRD Off Road. To be honest, I doubted it would work. Factory comparisons: 1st test was city mode, good response, after testing all other modes, this would be my first choice. Sport and Sport+ are great for overtaking Sport around town and definitely Sport+ on the highway. The factory acceleration definitely wasn't enough for me to ride the track, but Pedal Commander took care of it very effectively. Even Eco mode is decent compared to factory for local driving, it might be my first choice if MPG improves, will update after further testing. A NOTICE. I believe there was another review below for the 4Runner 2018 that mentions removing the pedal for installation. I can definitely say NOT needed, very easy to install and I've also only wrapped the cable once around the steering column clockwise and it stays in place. right next to the ignition key, easy to take and operate with one hand. The only disappointment I have is the extra $30 for Bluetooth, which I find useless and actually more of a distraction, but unfortunately the non-Bluetooth model was sold out.
