Powerful PS 1008 Filter: Enhance Performance for Hyundai, Infiniti, and Subaru Review

The filter that was sent to me no longer matches the filter shown to me in the picture in this listing. You can tell the difference by holding the original Silver Series filter next to this cheap redesign. I've been loyal to K&N oil filters for years, but that probably broke the tie. I could try their premium welded nut filter, I could look for something else like Purolator, Wix or Mann. It's sad to see K&N take a drastic drop in quality while charging the customer the same price.

Filter is either incorrect or defective. After 2000 mics I got a low oil pressure warning, I had never seen this warning before so I did a little research. I ended up replacing the $120 low oil sensor, the warning popped up after driving 20 miles. I did a full oil change and then I noticed the orange ring in my filter had collapsed. I have been buying the same PS1008 filter for the same machine for several years and I usually buy in bulk. The ones I got (3-4 years ago) were with 6 round holes and a rounded silicone gasket.
