I may not be keen on batteries, but they work!
I've finally decided to order a much needed replacement battery for my - GULP - desk phone despite it being a wireless DECT system. I can't seem to be able to determine REAL longevity as I've had this system for 10 years now and have only had to replace the batteries twice. I only buy the cheapest batteries. I think a lifespan of 5 years would be considered great by many, but that's just my opinion.
