If you are new to electrics, it may be best to have them professionally installed. The installation guide is helpful if you already know what you are doing. Example: There is an orange wire from the main wiring harness which, as stated in the installation guide, is grounded for 500mA when in the armed state; It took me ages to figure out that my basic setup (starter disengagement, shock sensor, door trigger and door lock function) didn't require it. Pretty much everyone on the internet said I needed it to get started. Either way it works great. The only thing I don't like is that the doors open when I turn off the alarm. I think I can program this function to another key; but it still unlocks all the doors :( and I'd really prefer to just unlock the driver's side. Again, I can probably go into the door panel and connect directly to the driver's door lock, bypassing the master unlock switch; but.
