I installed these lights in my basement office/playroom to create some cool lighting. - App takes a minute to figure out - Doesn't work well with a dimmer switch (not that they're advertised) - Apparently they go haywire when you reset your router (that's pretty funny) - Can't use the switch to control these lights controlling the lights from the app on your phone is rather inconvenient but useful at the same time. You can set it up to turn the light on and off on a schedule, which is great. But it's a little annoying that if someone comes into your home and uses the switch, you might have to re-add all of your lights to your application. And if your power or internet goes down for even a second, you might be screwed. I currently have 5 of these installed in my office, two of which won't turn on anymore so I can't even reset them or add them to the app. The other three turn on and allow a reset, but now they blink randomly. I've never plugged my Alexa into my office and I haven't set up another smart home hub, I guess that's what they were designed for or something.
