Review on ๐Ÿšด SONGMICS Indoor Bike Trainer Stand - Noise Reduction, Stable Curvy Frame USBT01B by Joe Fulce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Smooth and quiet - Easy to assemble - Excellent value for money

I had no trouble quickly mounting my Trek hybrid bike on this stand. It has 700 x 32mm high pressure tires and with its smooth profile it is almost completely silent, only emitting a low rumble at high speeds. I have thru-axle swivels and they fit into a bike rack without having to swap them out. The resistance in position #1 works best and smoothest when I'm using the bike's gears to increase the difficulty for normal riding and usually set them with a 48/12 gear combo. I increase the instructor slider to #2 or #3 to simulate driving an upgrade. On my high pressure and slick tires, after the roller first makes contact with the tire, turn the idle screw about 4 full turns to prevent skidding. This treadmill is very durable and will not wobble when moving. i drive it I see no reason to pay five to ten times as much for a model that works with smart applications. Most of us are smart enough to set up resistance ourselves. I bring the machine as close as possible to my large computer monitor and pull up a video with good music. My favorites came from an old friend and can be found at Jerry's Scenic Cycling on YouTube. The only issue for me is that my bike is very tall and has a high seat that is 46 inches off the ground when I sit on this machine. I use a low stool and kitchen chair combination to get in and out. With a little practice I can do it without feeling like falling.

Pros
  • Wide Compatibility: This magnetic exercise bike stand can be used with 26"-28" or 700C bikes as well as bikes with rear axle lengths from 4.9 to 6.6 Customs service. ; Road bikes are preferable to mountain bikes as they make less noise thanks to their tires and shell
