I'm tired of seeing how ugly the old paintwork and black junk on the glass was. I broke down and bought them and was pleasantly surprised to find that they are a near perfect replacement for the OEM fairing pieces. I made this for my 2008 Toyota Tundra Doublecab. It took me about 30 minutes to remove and replace all four fairing pieces. The installation wasn't too bad once you got the hang of the first door. Position the pieces on the door, sliding them under the mirrors at the front and over the rubber pieces at the back. Align the plastic clip. With your hand clenched, slide the pieces into place and you'll feel and hear them click into place. The first was the most difficult to deal with. You will click each door about 5 times and you will know it is correct. At first I didn't hit hard enough. I didn't want to spoil them. After the learning curve, the remaining three windows ran significantly faster. My truck looks a lot better now and I don't have to worry about water getting on the door and ruining the electronics. 13 years is a good mileage for these rubber parts.
