I don't have a dog but I live in Florida and the beach sand is so hard to get out of my backpack and sit down. I drive a Dodge minivan. However, I need an opening between the seats for my kids to get through. The only one I found that allows them to be opened up so they can get through was $99 so I just cut a mesh out of it and it works great. I'm just confused about bungee. I'm not sure where to hook them to hold the mat in place. Maybe later I'll try to fit the third row in and see if I can wrap it around these seats and then lower it back down. The only problem is that one seat is longer than the other.
