These mica powders aren't in the best of packaging - they come in ziplock bags with holes in them, making it very messy and inconvenient to spread a small amount without the powder getting everywhere. Before I even attempted to open a pack, I found my hands were covered in residue all the way around the neck of the pack. The powders are very shiny so not suitable for all soap making purposes unless you want a pearlescent or metallic color. Colours. Personally, I find metallic soap looks dated, but that's just my opinion. If you use a small amount of pigment to minimize metallic/pearl sheen you can still get normal color saturation, but I've found that many of the many glitters end up looking more or less the same. So in your powder kit you will have about 4-5 shades of a similar pink and at least 3-4 shades of plum. Oddly enough, there isn't a single true red anywhere in the pack. The closest color you can get is burgundy or pink. There are tiny plastic spatulas in the set, but they're so wide and flat that they're difficult to use and save you from wasting a lot of powder because it splatters everywhere. I think a narrow scoop will work better than a wide, flat model. FYI, a clear soap base is the best choice for vibrant colors because using a white or milky soap base will make your soap pastel in color.
