I travel occasionally and like to take my own GPS with me (you can never count on Hertz/Avis to have it on hand when you need it). You never know what kind of car you're going to buy, so you'll need to pack a whole bunch of mounts. I have a dashboard that I can use with command bars, an AC fan holder, and a few other bits and pieces. I also have a power cord and I would like a USB charger for my phone and a 3.5mm connector cable for audio. I don't like looking for all of these pieces when I go on a trip, so I like to have them all in one place, ready to go. I have a new Garmin GPS which is much larger than my old one (7 inches I think the largest they currently make for cars) so it's time for a new case. Something that will protect the screen from scratches while traveling and will hold all the bits. It has space on the cover for the GPS so the screen is protected from anything else in the bag, and a pocket on the bottom for cables and mounts. Everything fits and closes well, done!
