Review on Carpeted Entrance Mat - Notrax-136S0034 by Cody Stroop

hard stuff! Sticks well to my electric wheelchair!

I am disabled and use a power wheelchair to get around and as a result have endured a lot of carpet travel over the years. Carpets simply cannot bear the weight of the chair, usually the fastener wears out first. The area of the floor that I use the rug on goes from my front door to my living room and intersects in front of my kitchen so it gets crossed a lot. Approximately 3m x 10m. The first two treadmills I bought were Home Depot, which came on casters and were cut to customer specification. They were cheap but didn't last long before they started falling apart. I started looking online for new treadmills and in 2014 I finally found a nice model at an affordable price and in a size that suited my needs. I bought one of these runners from Revain (see https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008UFJT04/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) but unfortunately it only lasted a couple of weeks before the binding wore out began to come loose on both sides of the carpet. I contacted the seller who promptly sent a replacement runner but again I had the same problem as the first one. I finally found this Notrax 136 (3ft x 10ft) and couldn't be happier. I've had the slider for a few months now and there is no sign of it falling apart anywhere and it looks like it will last a few years. This is a beautiful rug with a very good design, highly recommended!.

Pros
  • Vinyl backing in matching colors helps reduce carpet movement
Cons
  • Large and bulky
