Had some Microdad cables from a previous USB generation. Cables with micro connectors are good cables, but useless for charging new phones and devices. I ordered these adapters, they came quickly and were well packaged. Cable adapters are ideal for reusing micro cables. I have a case around my phone which often makes some cables unsuitable as the area in front of the mini plug is too thick. These cables are thicker than most mini-USB cables, but the connector and surrounding plastic housing are thin enough to fit through the phone's body.
