Before connecting, remove the plastic protective cover in the plug.

Perfect fit for my Honda Accord Ex '04. A little distressed that the connector wouldn't connect. You must remove the protective plastic cover from the new plug before plugging in the old one. Otherwise it will not connect and you will think these are the wrong parts.
