Chair rails in furniture stands

The hallway is the same travertine tile as the kitchen, and not only is it difficult to clean hold, but also makes it difficult for chairs to slide, as there are indentations in them. So I needed glides that would stay in good condition and withstand my young children moving chairs around the room. (These chairs have been airplane seats, train cars, theater seats, concert seats, and even front row seats at a wrestling match!) Overall, they're great. They were relatively easy to put on. I turned the chair over so the seat of the chair was on the table and my legs were up in the air. This brought the bottom of the chair legs to the perfect height for a smooth glide. It took me about 30 minutes to make all the chairs (6) and table legs. My durability issue stems from the fact that I have travertine tile floors with lots of indentations and crevices. Only a few chairs had their upholstery worn out in just a few months. Luckily I had spare parts so I took the old one off, hammered in the new one and got to work. When I put them on the chair, some of them knocked the whole nail out of the airframe and I pounded on it. Yes, that completely defeats the purpose! Of the 50 or so in the bag, this only happened 3 times. I use a light hammer so I may have to hit it more than a full sized hammer. Overall this is a good product at a great price. I would definitely buy them again.
