This wireless video adapter is easy to use yet durable. It's wireless only and you can't "connect" to it, so you'll need to set up a wireless display. What I like is that it can work on multiple platforms and is not limited to iOS. What I don't like is that the setup is a bit confusing and frustrating at times. If you're planning on setting it up and installing it for a long time, it's worth it. But if you plan to install it in a hotel conference room every week, it is very difficult. MiraScreen only offers video streaming capabilities. It doesn't broadcast audio unless you mirror. So if you want to use it to stream to a TV, you'll need to connect the audio through a different interface. Setting up MiraScreen wasn't the easiest, but it wasn't the most difficult either. You need to install the EZMira application and then choose a connection method (via one of the communication protocols: Airplay, Wifi, Android). I know the Apple ecosystem better, which is why I chose Airplay. Other than that, the instructions were sparse regarding the connection, but here's what I did: 1. Connect and turn on all connections.2. Install and download the EZMira3 app. Connect my device to the MiraScreen dongle "MiraScreen xxxxxx” Wi-Fi adhoc network with the password shown on the screen.4. After connecting to this MiraScreen network, open the setup page via a browser (the address will be displayed on the MiraScreen monitor)5. Confirm your network credentials to allow MiraScreen to be a connected device on your router's network6. After that, you can now stream or stream on MiraScreen AND continue to connect to the internet from your device to stream. I had to figure it out, but it wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard either (for me due to my technical background). Hopefully there are better guides and manuals out there. I've noticed that the MiraScreen device is HEATING from so much hard work, so keep an eye on it. All in all, this wireless display adapter serves a purpose and can be very useful for TVs, monitors and displays where a wired connection is not desirable. Once you complete the setup, it will be very easy. I also think the ad was very fast. I experienced very little lag from almost zero. Exceptional performance.
