Review on πŸ”₯ Demon Street Demon Carburetor 1901 with 625 CFM by Brian Mendoza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Nicely built carburetor, great performance, nice packaging

If you've installed carburetors before, you'll be glad to know that installing this new design won't surprise you. It is very easy to install and virtually all the fasteners you need for installation are included. Your setup may require special throttle/transmission connection bits, sold separately. Performance is pretty good right out of the box. I bought two and installed the last purchase today on my 1968 Cadillac Eldorado with a 472ci engine. Fuel delivery is quick and very smooth. From an aesthetic point of view, its black and chrome finishes harmonize and do not look too flashy. The only thing I would warn about is that the throttle design has changed to allow more flexibility for cars with gear kickdown hardware. This increased its size and I faced interference with my factory intake manifold. I had to cut off the bottom tongue of the throttle to give enough clearance. I'll add a photo of the lever's dimensions from the Holley website. I'm also attaching a photo of the entire block from their website (which oddly shows an early version of the throttle with only 2 holes). Finally, the entire carburetor is not shown for this article at the time of writing. , but it includes the entire device in its original packaging. I'm really impressed with how carefully it is packaged. Hope this will be helpful for others.
