Review on Rancho RS5000X Gas Shocks Set Replacement Parts in Shocks, Struts & Suspension by Mitch Wright

Received it a few days ago. I have to say I was hoping that after reading a review saying they converted their Jeep into a Rolls Royce they would be a little calmer but then again they probably need some time off and a 33 rated load. The one I have on my TJ Jeep at the moment is probably also why the ride is still a bit bumpy. But regardless, the bumps aside, I'm just glad my jeep behaves a lot better! On a set of old hydraulic shock absorbers that I had before, the best way to describe my Jeep is, well, like a boat. It leans when turning and sways from side to side, and also wobbles and rolls a bit when shifting gears or hard braking. Driving the freeway at high speed (not that you should be driving at high speed in a jeep) was pretty scary on the rough pavement, and the broken concrete freeway was downright dangerous, causing my jeep to wander everywhere. Now all these problems are gone! My Jeep isn't an Audi or anything, but it feels a lot better when it's on the ground. It turns much better, handles better on the freeway and that lateral movement is completely gone! Much better to drive in general and feel extra safe now. Very impressed, looking forward to seeing if they get a little more comfortable with time and new tyres.
