Had to remove battery cover to conveniently insert one of the straps if not both straps holding it in place. Took about 10 minutes to install, had to adjust several times to tighten the bag. It took a lot longer to explore than the setup you want to remove to remove the battery cover and then thread the leather straps through the hole in the bag, into the tiny gap between the metal bar and the battery and back up the second hole in the bag .
