Had to remove battery cover to conveniently insert one of the straps if not both straps holding it in place. Took about 10 minutes to install, had to adjust several times to tighten the bag. It took a lot longer to explore than the setup you want to remove to remove the battery cover and then thread the leather straps through the hole in the bag, into the tiny gap between the metal bar and the battery and back up the second hole in the bag .

Well the reviews are right this bag should stand up to the test a bag this close to the road has to endure. It is well made, made of durable synthetic material and beautifully finished. It takes the empty space between the shock and the main cover of my 2016 HD Roadster (SPORTSTER) and fills it well and also gives me room to stash a few items. Once the lady buys her own Sporty, she gets one for herself. Highly recommended. 👍

Anyone who has driven a Harley knows that finding the right bag can be a challenge. This bag compliments the all black color of my 2017 Harley Davidson 48. It's very durable and has a plastic backing that helps it hold its shape. The instructions are up to date, or at least better step by step considering it was made in the USA. with some plastic strips that I used to protect the side of the bike so it doesn't get scratched when the bag rubs against it. Great bag at a great price.

5 star bird simply. Easy installation, very good assembly, quality and value for money are a matter of course (especially compared to a Harley dealer). This product came with 3 straps to attach to my bike and it took me 5-10 minutes to do all of this while having fun. It's not a big bag but functional enough for your essentials. I installed this on a 2016 Harley Street 750 (XG750). Fits perfectly. I've read other reviews about velcro and having to drill your own holes in the bag. Mine had leather or at least faux leather straps to attach the bag to the bike and already had holes cut into the back of the bag which worked great. Total installation time was about 10 minutes. I see a lot of feedback about how the wrong side was sent. This bag is designed for the left side of the dual shock, but if you ride a hard rear it's perfect for the right side. As you can see in the picture it fits right behind my passenger footpeg on the vlx 600 but don't worry it doesn't interfere with anything. It's not designed for your life inside, it's perfect for your phone and some other essentials. If you can't fit a light jacket, tie it to the pole if you have one. The bag is durable
