I bought this to play with. I was thinking about buying one of the obd sensors to have another device in my truck. After considering all the options, I got the idea that I could access all of this and more with one of these wireless readers. I took an old iPhone that I wasn't using, installed it on my dashboard, downloaded a free app and now I'm constantly being shown real-time information. This is a much cheaper alternative and allows you to extract a lot more data. I can also read error codes and reset codes, but that's just an added bonus to what I wanted. I'm using it in a 2008 Chevy Avalanche with an OBD2 car scanner in case anyone is interested. I have provided a screenshot of the app's demo mode as I don't have a photo while using it. It was very easy to set up and works as advertised.
