The lower filters in the photo are original Dyson parts After 2 years I finally decided to replace the original filters with fresh new ones. I bought this product and no later than 2 months later I noticed that it started to smell like mush every time I vacuumed it. The air coming out of the vacuum cleaner smelled very bad. After 2 months of use?. I'm so glad I kept the original parts and will be going back to them. I checked the Dyson website for genuine replacement parts but they advertise their vacuum filters as washable lifetime filters which I wasn't aware of beforehand. I do not recommend this product. Just wash it and use it again and it will be like new!
