These picks do a great job of what they're designed for - protecting walls and fine furniture from slamming doors. I had to find something else to protect where the doorknob meets the wall, but that's only because my two year old kept pulling it off the wall and it eventually lost its stickiness. Although I don't think it's the product. It can only be reinserted so many times. But for hidden spots where my toddler doesn't notice and doesn't try to mess with it, it works great! I can also confirm that it doesn't tear the paint off the wall when it peels off.
