I installed this on my home-made solar generator. I placed it between the battery pack and a 1500w pure sine wave inverter. Batteries can run at 150Ah continuously and I needed something to protect my investment. A 1500W inverter split into a 12V system is 125A. So I went with THHN 2/0 copper cable and used this 200A switch. It's a bit of an exaggeration, but I can draw 1500W in my system with no cord heating. This 200A DC circuit breaker works perfectly. It is easy to use and install. It gives me peace of mind that my system is well protected. I even use it to turn off the inverter by just pressing the shutdown button. So it serves a dual purpose. I think it's very good value for money. I give him 5 stars.
