I bought them because they told me they wouldn't slip out of my hands. I must have about 20 pairs of chopsticks and when you use them they slip out of your fingers because they are so slippery. I have a wooden pair but wanted them to be easier to clean. They were great and they do exactly what they say in their literature. They aren't as good as the wooden ones, but they stay in your hand while eating.
