Air Conditioner Tested and Approved

I am a Licensed Air Conditioner Installer. I bought this unit for Hurricane Irma. It was delivered exactly on time as stated the day before the hurricane. I only used it at night to cool down a 12 x 12 foot bedroom that slept three people. The device was easy to set up and worked flawlessly. The wheels are excellent, you can spin them with your finger. The hoses can be installed in a horizontal or vertical sliding window. I set it to 72 degrees because I wanted to save fuel for the generator. The power meter showed it was only drawing 1200 watts from my 5250 alternator, giving me 12-13 hours of runtime with a 5-gallon tank. The device is a bit noisy, but no more than others I've seen. This type of unit is slightly noisier than window air conditioners because the compressor is now in your room and no longer window units. The night light glows dimly but can be turned off. The control panel is a remote control that can be removed and placed on the bedside table. It has other features that I honestly didn't have time to explore such as: B. a timer, a dehumidifier and 4 speeds. I've only used it on auto. I used it for 6 days in a very humid environment as my internal gauge sometimes showed 85-90% humidity and it never cut off because the water had to be drained in the middle of the night, it does its job perfectly. vaporize it. I therefore strongly recommend investing a little more and getting a two-hose air conditioner. I've done my research. A single hose assembly only produces about half the advertised BTU because it uses some of the cold air in your room to cool the compressor and push it out of the hose. Overall, I am very satisfied with this device and can only recommend it.
